The Role

We’re looking for a talented Digital Marketing Manager to manage the marketing output for one of the North of England’s fastest-growing digital agencies, helping to promote the creation of an array of exciting web and mobile products for organisations around the world. 

Working for a company that operates a remote-first policy, you will be working with a team of 50 experienced experts across sales & consultancy, product, design, development, quality assurance and support, to ensure that the Netsells brand is reflected properly in everything we do.

We are regarded as one of the premier developers in the North of England, with industry-leading knowledge of building bespoke web platforms and sector-leading mobile applications. Netsells works with some of the most recognised brands in the world on the delivery of digital products that tackle a wide variety of industry and business problems.

The Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute digital marketing, including SEO, marketing database, email, social media and PPC
  • Design, build and maintain our social media presence
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Manage Netsells tone of voice and brand asset library
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Brainstorm new and creative lead generation strategies
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
  • Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
  • Support marketing director with content planning and execution
  • Support in content creation inline with marketing trends

The Requirements

This role will require some travel to our York Headquarters for campaign planning and project research. 

Essential:

  • Previous experience in a hands-on marketing role.
  • Experience writing both SEO-driven and thought leadership style articles.
  • A good general knowledge of a wide selection of apps and web services.
  • The ability to communicate confidently with staff, clients and third-party suppliers. 
  • The ability to solve complex problems, and then collaborate with stakeholders to identify the appropriate solution.
  • Capable of managing their own time, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising on quality. 
  • Is driven, constantly looking for ways to improve upon existing processes.
  • Is able to use own initiative to assist other departments to achieve company goals.
  • Experience with Google Adwords, Analytics and Paid Social.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiar with current changes within the digital / development industry, as well as general news and events. 
  • Experience with design tools such as (but not limited to) Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Premiere Pro, Canva or other tools.
  • Experience in operating in a fully agile environment.
